Tracking Where COVID-19 Has Spread the Most, Least in Chester County in the Last Seven Days

The number of new COVID-19 cases in Chester County has remained roughly the same over the past seven days, although some areas remain more infected than others, write Sean Adams and Megan Lavey-Heaton for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

The latest numbers compiled by the Pennsylvania Department of Health highlight the rates of COVID-19 infection in each ZIP Code statewide for the seven days ending March 17, compared to the infection rates for the seven days prior.

The highest percentage increase in new cases in Chester County during this period was in ZIP Code 19372 (Thorndale), which recorded an increase of 4.55 percent to reach 115 cases.

ZIP Code 19310 (Atglen) is next with an increase of 4.47 percent, which brought it to 187 cases.

ZIP Codes 19352 (Lincoln University) and 19333 (Devon) follow with increases of 3.72 and 3.28 percent, respectively.

Meanwhile, ZIP Code 19348 (Kennett Square) reported an increase of just 0.73 percent, while 19311 (Avondale) reported an even smaller increase of 0.46 percent.
