Henderson High School graduate Rick Green, who was born in Waltham, Mass., and moved to West Chester at a young age, is the Director of Cox Communications Programs at Communications Test Design, Inc. (CTDI), a global engineering, repair, and logistics company.

Green, who began working on nights and weekends at Parkway Cleaners when he was in high school, earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA from West Chester University. He credits Jerry Parsons, CTDI’s former CEO and current Chairman, with having the biggest impact on his career.

“Jerry mentored me throughout my career and helped me develop my skills in leadership, critical thinking, operations management, and team-building,” said Green. “I am thankful for the opportunity to work side by side with Jerry and benefit from his expertise.”

Green’s proudest professional achievement was being a Branch Manager at CTDI’s West Chester Comcast Hub.

“I was given the opportunity to lead a talented team of over 150 people to re-imagine and expand our services for this important customer,” he said. “Using CTDI testing automation and streamlined process flows, we were able to greatly improve both the efficiency of our operation and the experience for our employees.”

Green’s favorite Chester County restaurant is Iron Hill Brewery.
