2021 VISTA Millennial Superstars: Kori Theusch

By

Spring City native Kori Theusch is the Director of Operations at S1 Medical (Service First Medical), a cost containment and medical management firm based in Chadds Ford.

Theusch, who began working as a summer counselor at youth sports camps as a 15-year-old, earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Shippensburg University, where she was a two-sport athlete (field hockey and lacrosse). She credits Joe Boures, her former boss turned mentor and friend, as having the biggest impact on her career.

“He has taught me lessons beyond the articulation of value,” said Theusch. “His business acumen, combined with his compassion for people and doing the right thing, has left a long-lasting impression that I can only hope I can pay forward to others.”

Her proudest professional moments have occurred over the last two years, as she’s watched and supported the growth of the next generation of professionals.

“I’ve always had a passion for coaching, whether it be in business or sports, so to have an opportunity to focus on leadership has been the most challenging and rewarding journey,” said Theusch. “I am incredibly fortunate to work with a group of energetic and talented individuals at S1 Medical who have helped me grow as a leader.”

Her favorite Chester County restaurant is dolce Zola in West Chester.
