Immaculata University’s winter session, which begins Dec. 14 and ends Jan. 8, will offer a number of courses covering diverse topics at the undergraduate and graduate levels. All classes are online and undergraduate courses will be discounted at $300 per credit for the winter session.

The new Introduction to Telemental Health Counseling provides a timely option for graduate students who will learn how to screen clients for appropriateness for telemental health; access the level of risk for the client; and how to develop an emergency management plan specific to telemental health.

The class will also address the ethical and legal considerations of telemental health and apply it to case studies and class discussions. The one-credit virtual course is available during the weekend of Dec. 18.

“Immaculata is pleased to offer its winter session, creating an opportunity for students who want to get ahead, make up, or catch up,” said Angela Tekely, vice president for academic affairs and provost. “The expansive course offerings have something for everyone, including current and new students, students from another college, and students interested in personal enrichment.”
