Houghton College Honors Elverson Man with Distinguished Achievement Award

Houghton College, a liberal arts college in western New York, recently honored Elverson resident Mark Moyer with its Distinguished Achievement Award at a virtual ceremony during its homecoming festivities.

Moyer is the Senior Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Project Management, and Project Leads at Immunocore, a British biotechnology company that has offices in Conshohocken and Rockville, Md.

Immunocore works to develop and commercialize a new generation of transformative medicines to address unmet needs in cancer, infection, and autoimmune disease.

Houghton honored Moyer, who graduated from the college in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry, for his significant contributions to the field of pharmaceutical research and development and for his impact on the lives of those battling cancer.
