GWCC Launches Discussion Series to Help Nonprofits During COVID-19

Chester County nonprofits and their boards of directors are invited to join in the first part of a Nonprofit Discussion Series designed to assist nonprofits during COVID-19.

Many nonprofits depend on membership dues and in-person fundraiser events for revenue. So how do they keep generating revenue in the virtual world of COVID-19, while spending wisely in a time of uncertainty?

Chester County nonprofits and their boards of directors are invited to join in the first part of a Nonprofit Discussion Series designed to assist nonprofits during COVID-19. Sponsored by Benchmark Federal Credit Union and presented by the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce, the panel discussion on Best Practices for Virtual Fundraising will be held on Monday, Oct. 12 at 12 PM.

The panel of Chester County’s nonprofit leaders includes Joyce Lacy, former Executive Director of North Star of Chester County; Christy Cosgrove, Manager of La Difference Salon & Day Spa and current GWCC Board Member; Karen DiVincenzo, Director of Development at the Arc of Chester County; and moderator Krystine Sipple, Principal of Krystine Supple Consulting and current Barclay Friends Board Member with a host of other nonprofit accolades.

The panelists will offer their insights on creating the best virtual fundraising events possible, including what has worked – and what hasn’t – for them. Attendees can also ask their most pressing questions to the panelists.

“As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Benchmark Federal Credit Union understands the needs of nonprofits, and we support the financial needs of many of them across Chester County,” said Daniel J. Machon Jr., President and CEO of Benchmark Federal Credit Union. “We’re proud to make this Nonprofit Panel Series possible at a time when nonprofit services are more valuable to our community than ever.”
