The Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will host an evening of art, light snacks, and a cash bar at its popular Mac’s Foxhole Bar on Wednesday, Sept. 9 from 6-8 PM.

The event, an Artist Reception featuring Sam Olshin, is a part of the Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center’s Artist Perspective Series.

Olshin is a principal in Atkin Olshin Schade Architects of Philadelphia and Santa Fe, N.M. The 25-person firm specializes in a wide variety of institutional projects, including university, museum, school, hospitality, and religious commissions.

In order to keep everyone safe and adhere to CDC and state guidelines, space will be limited and masks must be worn, except when enjoying your beverage or snack.

Uptown! asks that guests limit their viewing to 20 minutes at a time so that everyone has an opportunity to share in the experience. Uptown! encourages everyone to tour its beautiful theater as you wait to view the artwork.

The exhibit runs until Oct. 28.

All paintings are 16 inches by 20 inches and are framed and matted. Twenty percent of the proceeds will be donated to Uptown!
