He was an Uber driver who put a video camera in his vehicle for his own protection after one drunken passenger decided to open his locked doors while traveling down I-76.

Now, comedian Eddie Doyle of Secane shows video of his Uber rides or whatever else he thinks of, and has more than 700,000 followers on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, writes Stephanie Farr for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Most of the videos are just the riders and Doyle telling stories about their lives and experiences.

The day he brought his mom’s puppy is his most popular video, with more than two million views.

Doyle grew up in Springfield but moved to Glen Mills in his junior year of high school.

His most Delco story comes from a frequent passenger: Delco Danny, who got in a fight at a Pearl Jam tribute band concert, was Tasered, and put in a police cell where he’d installed vinyl flooring the week before.

“Any ride with Delco Danny is just a pure Delco experience,” Doyle said. “He is a paying customer but it’s Delco, so I did go to elementary school with him.”
