The pandemic won’t stall the Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry’s annual tradition of celebrating the accomplishments of female business leaders in the community.

The CCCBI’s Women Influencing Business Reception will be held online on Thursday, June 25 from 5:30-6:45 PM.

CCCBI is asking for a $50 donation from guests for this virtual event. No guest will be turned away due to cost; however, any amount at all is appreciated.

The Women Influencing Business Committee will honor its Female Executive of the Year, Stacy Martin of Hankin Group, and Female Rising Star of the Year, Clare Freimuth of Truist Bank, formerly BB&T.

Martin is the award-winning real estate developer’s Director of Commercial Sales & Leasing and boasts more than 25 years of experience in her industry. Her responsibilities include securing new tenant leases, maintaining existing tenant relationships, marketing, pre-leasing new development projects, budgeting, mentoring, and marketing and industry analytics.

“This honor is a milestone that reminds me how powerful it can be to stop and recognize all the great work going on all around us, by so many,” said Martin. “It is also motivating and humbling, as it is also a reminder that, with the work we do every day, we can find so many opportunities to make an impact. I am thankful that my work with Hankin Group and the chamber have provided ample opportunities over the years. This honor will be a constant source of inspiration to continue to serve and lift up others.”

Prior to joining Hankin Group, Martin worked as Vice President of Leasing for O’Neill Properties, Director of Leasing for Korman Commercial Properties, and as a commercial real estate broker for CBRE, an international brokerage firm.

She serves as President of the Pennsylvania/New Jersey/Delaware Chapter of the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) Institute and is the first female elected to the position since the organization’s inception in 1979.

Freimuth is Vice President of Commercial Lending at Truist Bank and serves clients in Chester and Delaware counties and the surrounding area. In her role, she partners with businesses and nonprofits to provide solutions for planning and executing for the future.
