- No buildings are currently open for public access.
- All libraries have curbside or non-contact pickup available. You can still borrow library materials by reserving online or calling your library. CCLS has purchased a software that allows you to schedule pickups (when materials are ready for you). Each library has specific procedures for you to follow when you receive notification that items are ready for you.
- The book drops are now open.
- The due dates for the return of all materials checked out before the libraries closed has been extended to June 30, and no fines will accrue during this time.
- In order to comply with CDC guidelines, all materials that are returned will be subject to a 72-hour quarantine. No fines will accrue while materials are in quarantine. Staff will not be checking them in immediately, so if you are looking at your record, they will not clear right away.
- Currently, no library card expires until Aug. 1. CCLS will review that as the date gets closer and may extend that period, depending on the situation.
The state is still restricting CCLS’s in-person services. So, for now, its virtual services will continue. CCLS will be cleaning its buildings, setting up appropriate social distancing markings, installing sneeze guards, and much more.
