Resident of London Grove Township to Get His 15 Minutes of Fame
Alex Pyle, a manager of Brandywine Ace Pet and Farm in Pocopson Township, is starring in several new commercials that promote the franchise’s brand nationally, writes Jen Samuel for the Daily Local News.
Ace, which has more than 5,000 stores across the globe, has run several new commercials this year, including one that addresses the COVID-19 crisis.
“Every day is a different adventure here,” said Pyle.
Pyle has been working at the Brandywine Ace Pet and Farm for the last seven years. Today, he runs its hardware division as a store manager.
He is also one of only 25 employees selected from the franchise’s 5,000 stores.
“It’s quite an honor for him and for our store,” said store owner Larry Drennen.
Pyle has filmed on multiple occasions with Ace, including in Chicago last year for his first appearance. In March, just before the pandemic was declared a national emergency, he traveled to Florida for three days to film more scenes for additional commercials.
“Alex is a very personable person,” said Drennen. “He’s got a great smile. All the customers love working with Alex.”
