Qlik, the data and analytics company based in King of Prussia, is helping to connect Australians to available jobs across their nation.

The Australian Government recently announced the availability of its Jobs Hub, which was built on the Qlik Analytics Platform and aims to help Australians impacted by COVID-19 get back into the workforce.

The Jobs Hub has been developed using more than 3,000 data sources. Australians can use the platform to search for jobs by location and find roles that have been advertised in the past week. Users can then click on the particular role to find and apply for matching jobs advertised in their local area and other regions.

In addition to collating information on current employment opportunities, the platform analyzes the data to provide information on trends in the labor market and gives insight into jobs that are in demand. This information has recently been made available to the public through an interactive dashboard providing key labor market statistics and unemployment rate maps at the national, state/territory, and regional levels.

“The new Jobs Hub illustrates the power of data to solve our world’s most daunting challenges,” said Geoff Thomas, Senior Vice President for Qlik in Asia Pacific. “Job matching is critical at this time as the impact of the situation gets more severe every day. We’re proud to play a role through our analytics platform in helping Australian workers adversely impacted by COVID-19 find employment, and employers to quickly scale their workforces.”
