Chester County Library to Host Virtual Lecture on ‘The Death of Privacy’ on Tuesday
We are surrounded by surveillance cameras, smart phones, facial recognition systems, and other technologies that seem to know more about us than we know about ourselves.
What should we think about this erosion of our privacy? Is it possible to live privately – “off the grid” – in modern American society?
The Chester County Library will host a virtual lecture by Lawrence Husick, a technology attorney and terrorism expert, on Tuesday, April 21 from 6:30-8 PM. Husick will discuss modern privacy issues from legal, social, technological, and economic perspectives.
Click here to register for the lecture. All registrants will receive an e-mail with the Zoom connection information two hours before the program begins.
