Kelly Jurs has joined Lamb McErlane’s Family Law Practice Group, while Steve Jarmon, a partner who focuses on criminal and civil matters, has been elected to the Board of Governors for the Phoenixville Area Economic Development Corporation (PAEDCO).

Jurs was previously an Assistant Public Defender in the office of the Chester County Public Defender. At Lamb McErlane, she will focus her practice on all aspects of family law, including pre-nuptial planning, divorce, equitable distribution, child custody, property settlement, and related litigation and mediation issues.

“Kelly will be an integral part of our expanding Family Law Practice,” said Joel Frank, Lamb McErlane’s Chairman and Managing Partner. “We are excited to continue to expand and diversify our firm.”

Jurs is active in the community, serving on the Board of Marshallton Conservation Trust Inc. and as a volunteer for the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls. She is also a member of the Chester County Bar Association and serves on its Membership Committee.

She received her J.D. from Loyola University New Orleans and her undergraduate degree from Immaculata University.

Jarmon has spent his legal career practicing criminal law in the Greater Philadelphia area. PAEDCO was formed in 1983 by local business leaders to revive Phoenixville’s economy. Throughout the years, PAEDCO has contributed through various grants and also headed several key projects that have played a critical role in the rebirth and continued expansion of Phoenixville.

Jarmon serves as a member of the Probation and Parole Reform Task Force of the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (PACDL). Most recently, he was named solicitor to the newly elected Chester County Prothonotary, Debbie Bookman.

Jarmon has been designated a Pennsylvania Rising Star by Super Lawyers since 2014 and has a “Superb 10” rating from Avvo.com. He’s also been named a Top 100 Trial Lawyer and a Main Line Today Top Lawyer.
