Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce Celebrates 30 Years of Gallery Walk Series

By

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce’s Gallery Walk Series Presented by Sunset Hill Jewelers & Fine Arts Gallery, a semiannual walking tour of one-night-only art shows throughout downtown West Chester.

One of Chester County’s most popular events, the Gallery Walk provides attendees the opportunity to experience the borough’s enchanting blend of urban sophistication and small-town ambiance.

Guests will stroll through West Chester’s historic streets, explore the eclectic mix of galleries and host locations, and enjoy artwork from local, national, and international artists featuring various art styles and mediums.

“The Greater West Chester Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate 30 years of our Gallery Walk Series Presented by Sunset Hill Jewelers & Fine Arts Gallery,” said Mark Yoder, GWCC’s president and CEO. “Guests get to experience the vibrancy of West Chester’s art, food, and retail culture. It’s one of the many reasons we love the greater West Chester community.”

Sandy Riper, owner of Sunset Hill Jewelers & Fine Arts Gallery, hopes everyone enjoys the Gallery Walk and wishes each artist much success.

“Art is not just pictures for a wall,” said Riper. “Art is an experience and a memory you can keep with you forever.”

The Spring Gallery Walk will take place Friday, May 1 from 5-9 PM, and the Autumn Gallery Walk is set for Friday, Oct. 2 from 5-9 PM.
