Rabbi Yossi Kaplan of Chabad of Chester County, a synagogue in Devon, is among the religious leaders who are bringing the word of God virtually into the homes of worshippers during the coronavirus crisis, writes Kimberly Davis for CBS Philly.

With many people relying on their faith to help them get through these uncertain times, not being able to go to their usual place of worship has been an additional hardship.

To ensure they reach those who need them most, houses of worship around the globe have had to find inventive ways and platforms to share their teachings while remaining at home to help stop the spread of coronavirus. For Rabbi Kaplan’s community, this means celebrating at home.

“We didn’t close up shop; we just moved the shop to something virtual,” said Kaplan, who has also been delivering candles to those houses that need them.
