Senior Meeting Planner

This position supports a team of meeting planners by assisting with contract negotiations, exhibit hall design and layout, and sponsorship creation and fulfillment; oversees the logistics, budgets, and on-site management for multiple events a year; and monitors operational expenses for all programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, marketing, project management, or business; a minimum of five years of relevant experience as the lead planner for large events; and extensive knowledge of A/V equipment, meeting room sets, and exhibit hall execution.

National Account Manager

This position demonstrates knowledge and benefits of company products and services through editorial content and live educational events; works closely with clients to understand their needs, budget, and time frame; and develops and grows a quality pipeline of new contacts through networking.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree and experience working a full sales cycle; the ability to create compelling customer presentations and exceptional presentation skills; exceptional time management and organizational skills; and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Managing Editor

This position defines editorial strategy and establishes editorial direction and policies for the assigned publication; formulates ad and editorial calendars and establishes production schedules; and works in partnership with sales staff to meet reader and advertiser needs.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a related discipline; three to five years of relevant publishing and/or magazine experience; prior experience working with a peer-reviewed journal; and proficient in AMA Manual of Style.
