SCCCC Selects Rev. Annalie Korengel as Its 2019 Outstanding Citizen of the Year

The Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce has selected Rev. Annalie Korengel, pastor of Unionville Presbyterian Church, as its 2019 Outstanding Citizen of the Year for her decades of service to the community.

“We are thrilled to recognize Rev. Annalie Korengel with this prestigious honor,” said SCCCC President and CEO Cheryl Kuhn. “Rev. Annalie exemplifies everything an outstanding citizen should be, and through her vision, leadership, and generosity, she has greatly advanced the welfare of our community.”

“I am honored to have been chosen as the 2019 Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Southern Chester County Chamber of Commerce,” said Rev. Korengel. “I have seen firsthand how the chamber not only serves its community, but also honors and supports others who do valuable work for our region. I am honored to be in such good company.”

As the Chaplain for the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department, the Kennett Township Police Department, and the Kennett Square Police Department, Rev. Korengel actively provides emotional support to all police officers, as well as families who have lost loved ones. She has been a Rotarian for more than 18 years and has been the President of three different Rotary Clubs.
