In the period between 2000 and 2011, Chester County gained 70,000 residents, more than any county in Pennsylvania.

County employers in that same period, created 50,000 jobs in the county, the fastest job growth recorded among all south east Pennsylvania counties.

With more people and jobs comes more cars.  Residents in Chester County registered cars at a pace five times the state or regional average.
