Sidney Drill, who was born and raised in North Bethesda, Md., is a Solution Architect at Qlik, a King of Prussia-based company and leader in data discovery that empowers clients to make meaningful discoveries that drive change.

Drill earned a bachelor’s degree in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University, where she was also a Division I student-athlete as a member of the women’s swimming team.

She credits Brittini Schafer, her first manager at Qlik, with having the biggest impact on her career.

“Brittini took the chance to hire a recent college graduate to a role that required multiple years of experience,” said Drill, who began working as an assistant swim coach at the age of 16. “She focused on helping me gain professional expertise, manage my own projects, build my internal network, and enjoy life at Qlik!”

Drill said there’s much to keep up with in the rapidly expanding Data Integration and Analytics space, but is proud of how much she’s learned, both technically and professionally, to support Qlik and its goals.

“Working my way from Internal Enablement to becoming the youngest Senior Solution Architect at Qlik and being aligned to the top-performing sales rep and some of the largest deals globally for 201 are some of my proudest accomplishments,” she said. “I’m also proud to have traveled to Malawi with Qlik’s charity partner, WeSeeHope, to support their mission to empower impoverished communities in Africa.

“Qlik is committed to driving positive change in the world with our technology and people, and it was an inspiring and breathtaking experience to take part in this work.”

Drill’s favorite Chester County restaurant is Talula’s Table in Kennett Square.
