Paoli is among the Top 30 ZIP Codes in the Philadelphia area with the highest return on investment over the last decade, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Greater Philadelphia is considered a very hot housing market with home prices climbing steadily in recent years. According to Zillow, home values went up by 2.1 percent just in the last year alone, with the region’s median home sale price coming in at $217,000.

Paoli ranked at No. 23 on the list, which is dominated by ZIP Codes in Philadelphia proper. It has a median home value of $421,700, which represents a 10-year change of 24 percent, or an increase of $82,700.

This puts Paoli’s 10-year return on investment at 144 percent, the highest in Chester County.

According to the rankings, the Philadelphia ZIP Code encompassing Point Breeze and Grays Ferry saw the highest ROI over the last decade with an astounding 1,648 percent.
