World-renowned magician Jason Bishop will perform Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 PM at West Chester University, in the Emilie K. Asplundh Concert Hall located in the Philips Memorial Building at 700 South High Street.

The event is part of the WCU Live! performing arts series, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary season. Tickets range from $15-$27 and are available by clicking here.

You won’t believe your eyes as Bishop, one of America’s hottest illusionists, mystifies with spellbinding magic, award-winning sleight of hand, and grand illusions, all set to a modern rock and pop soundtrack. He might read your mind one second or make goldfish appear out of nowhere the next.

Bishop’s wit and unique style have led him from China to Paris, from Hollywood to New York City, as well as more than 20 countries on six continents.

Bishop is a Pennsylvania native who attended Salisbury High School in Allentown and Kutztown University. He now performs all over the world, bringing one of the most dynamic touring magic shows to audiences. From turning $1 into a $100 and making his adorable Yorkshire Terrier – Gizmo (the star of the show, according to Bishop) – disappear, Bishop is a consummate professional. Close-up magic is projected on a giant screen.

“We are so honored to have Jason Bishop here at West Chester University,” said John Rhein, WCU’s Director of Cultural and Community Affairs. “This is definitely a show for all ages, and we invite the surrounding community to our campus to join us for this thrilling and funny production.”
