Centric Bank, which recently entered the Chester County market with a loan production office in Devon, supported the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer at the Philadelphia Zoo with a $1,000 corporate donation.

The bank also sponsored a team that participated in the walk/run. Team Centric, an enthusiastic group of seven employees from the new Devon office, joined more than 1,100 pediatric cancer warriors to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer.

Team Centric individually raised an additional $2,425 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, bringing Centric Bank’s total support to $3,425.

“No diagnosis is as frightening as a childhood cancer diagnosis, and we are honored to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the quest to conquer childhood cancer and provide care for the families enduring such a difficult journey,” said Patricia (Patti) A. Husic, Centric Bank’s President and CEO.

“Service to others is an important principle of our bank culture, and as we expand our presence in the Philadelphia region, we are supporting the amazing philanthropy work being done by organizations like St. Jude.”
