As Toll Brothers and Westtown Township wait to hear the Commonwealth Court’s opinion on the former’s appeal of the latter’s denial of a plan to build homes on Crebilly Farm, the developer recently presented another plan at a meeting of the township’s Planning Commission, writes Rich Schwartzman for Chadds Ford Live.

The updated plan still calls for 319 homes. Gregg Adelman, an attorney for Toll Brothers, said that 196 of the more than 300 acres would remain as open space.

One of the differences is that some of the homes are shifted away from the western side of the property; another is a road connecting West Pleasant Grove Road with Route 926.

Those in attendance could be heard jeering when traffic engineer Nicole Kline said that the road wouldn’t add to traffic congestion at the intersection of Routes 202 and 926.
