Greater Valley Forge (GVF), a nonprofit that promotes a transportation network and infrastructure for a more sustainable environment to work and live in the region, has recognized Qlik for its strong commitment to corporate responsibility and related efforts to reduce traffic congestion and carbon emissions.

Qlik is a software company that helps enterprises around the world move faster, work smarter, and lead the way forward with an end-to-end solution for getting value out of data. With its move to King of Prussia, the company has amplified its efforts to invest in the environment with electric car charging stations, flexible work arrangements, and accommodations for those who bike to work from the Chester Valley bike trail.

These initiatives – and others – reduce transportation demand.

“We are honored to be recognized by GVF for our efforts,” said Lisa Carraway, Qlik’s Senior Director of Internal Communications. “In addition to our local sustainability initiatives, Qlik is bringing the power of data and analytics to create a more sustainable future for the next generation. Transportation is responsible for 27 percent of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, and we are committed to positively impact climate change through our work with the United Nations, C40 Cities, and others.”
