Local dog owners will soon have a new option when it comes to spoiling their four-legged friends while they are away, according to a report from CBS Philly.

K9 Resorts: Luxury Daycare & Hotel will open its doors later this month on Lancaster Avenue in Malvern. The 13,000-square-foot hotel is already being referred to as the Ritz-Carlton for dogs.

Its high-quality boarding and daycare facilities offer a range of accommodations, from traditional boarding to executive rooms and luxury suites.

In luxury suites, dogs will get to enjoy special dog bedding, outdoor window views, and television entertainment that can be tuned to Animal Planet, among other things.

The facility will also be split into separate zones to keep down the number of pooches that occupy a single area. This will help reduce the pets’ stress levels while their owners are away.

Also, the hotel will offer Doggie Daycare for dogs that enjoy the company of other dogs. Here, they will have the opportunity to socialize and unwind in a controlled and safe setting.

The hotel is expected to welcome its first guests later this month.
