United Way of Chester County Celebrates Five-Year Anniversary of Its Financial Stability Center

United Way Chester CountyThe United Way of Chester County recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of its Financial Stability Center in Exton with an open house and guided tours.

The FSC is the only center of its kind in the entire state that is co-located at a Pennsylvania Career Link facility. The center is a great example of some of the work done by United Way and a unique project that seeks to increase income, decrease debt, and build savings and assets for all Chester County residents in the hopes of providing more people with financial stability.

“5,485 lives have been touched through financial coaching, counseling, and the supportive services (offered by the center) in the last five years,” CEO Chris Saello told guests at the event. “That breaks down to three people every day, including weekends, for five straight years.

“My commitment to you from the United Way of Chester County is to continue to be innovative and find ways to meet the needs. We’re going to aggressively seek out people that need help in the county, and we’re going to laser-focus on solutions for those people.”
