Curator of Chester County History Center Elected to Board of PA Museums

Ellen Endslow, the Chester County History Center’s Director of Collections/Curator, has been elected to the Board of Directors of PA Museums, a statewide trade association serving museum professionals and institutions.

Founded in 1905, PA Museums serves as a grassroots advocate at the local, state, and federal levels to secure funding and other support to help museums succeed.

As a community of museums and historical organizations, PA Museums stands at the intersection of delight, inspiration, education, the tourism industry, and the economic vitality of the Commonwealth.

“I’m humbled by the opportunity to give back to the state that helped to launch my museum career,” said Endslow.

Endslow joined the Chester County History Center in 1999 and is responsible for museum collections care and interpretation, exhibit development, grant writing for collections care, and public outreach. She has a bachelor’s degree in Art History/Studio Art from Oberlin College and a master’s degree in Historical Administration from Eastern Illinois University.
