Continuing the momentum of its successful Exton office opening in June 2018, professional services leader RKL welcomed Len Metkowski to the firm partnership in late 2018. Metkowski’s specialized tax expertise and strong connections within the Greater Philadelphia business community enhance the firm’s efforts to drive real results for its current and future clients in the region.

Metkowski’s professional journey started early in his childhood, when he would discuss the latest business headlines with his father. “When I would see stories about businesses closing or opening or prominent individuals not paying tax, I wondered how those concepts worked and what were the details or circumstances around these situations,” he said.

Fueled by this innate curiosity and analytical ability, Metkowski went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. Joseph’s University and his law degree from Villanova University. Three decades later, Metkowski is a well-respected and in-demand business advisor with specialized expertise including business formations, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, cost segregation, cost analysis, budgeting, strategic planning and tax controversy resolution. He most recently served as CFO for Logan Capital Management in Ardmore, where he was responsible for strategic planning and finance functions. Metkowski also has deep public accounting tax experience with two national firms in the Philadelphia area.

Whether it is helping clients manage cross-border tax strategy or reap tax savings from research and development, RKL has long taken a proactive and cross-disciplinary approach to tax planning.
