This position is responsible for maintaining discipline and security at the Chester County Prison so that all areas within the prison compound are secure; and assures the safety and security of inmates and staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED; a valid driver’s license and the ability to work any shift; and required criminal background and child abuse clearances.

Early Intervention Service Coordinator

This position facilitates, coordinates, and monitors services for children, 0-3 years old, who are at risk of or have at least a 25 percent delay in one area of development by working with families in their homes and in the community.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in early intervention, child development, psychology, or a related social science; and one year of full-time experience working with or providing counseling to children, families, or individuals with disabilities.

Environmental Health Specialist

This position provides inspection and public health duties, including site evaluations, inspections, and subdivision plan reviews; provides technical assistance to contractors and the general public; investigates complaints; and assists with other environmental programs as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in environmental health, biology, chemistry, or a related discipline; up to two years of related work experience; Sewage Enforcement Officer certification; and strong communication skills.
