Do you like working in the sunshine? Do you enjoying hearing the voices of children laughing and having fun? Are you a team leader and ready to grow in experience this summer?

Take a stand and be a lifeguard.

The YMCA of Greater Brandywine is now hiring lifeguards (ages 15 and older) and aquatic professionals, all throughout Chester County, to be a part of its team.

The YMCA will host lifeguard hiring events on the following dates:

• Tuesday, March 12 from 5-7 PM
• Wednesday, March 13 from 5-7 PM

At the following locations:

• Brandywine YMCA in Coatesville
• Jennersville YMCA in West Grove
• Kennett Area YMCA in Kennett Square
• Lionville Community YMCA in Exton
• West Chester Area YMCA in West Chester
• Upper Main Line YMCA in Berwyn

Bring your swimsuit and join in on the fun. Candidates will participate in an on-the-spot swim test and interview. If hired, they will receive a voucher for a free Ellis Lifeguard Certification.

“I took the lifeguard certification class at the YMCA nearly four years ago and was able to start working soon after that,” said lifeguard Marc Heppe. “I really enjoy working here and have made many new friends, while gaining valuable work experience and a renewed respect for the position.”
