Artisanal Brewing, the parent company of Victory, once again rates well among the nation’s top craft breweries according to sales, writes Adam Hermann for PhillyVoice.

Artisanal ranks 11th on the 2018 Top 50 Craft Brewing Companies, a list published by the Brewers Association, the nonprofit trade group representing small and independent craft brewers.

“Although the market has grown more competitive,” said Bart Watson, chief economist at Brewers Association, “these 50 small and independent brewing companies continue to lead the craft brewing market in sales through strong brands, quality, and innovation.”

Artisanal Brewing also did well on the list of the Top 50 Overall Brewing Companies, placing 20th.

Both rankings are improvements over the previous year, when Artisanal Brewing placed 14th for craft brewing companies and 24th among all brewers.

First place on the list of craft breweries went to Pottsville-based Yuengling, which also placed sixth overall. This is the fifth consecutive year the country’s oldest brewery has been named the top craft brewer nationwide.
