Delaware County Community College will host a Paralegal Career Night on Thursday, March 7 from 6-8 PM at its Exton Center, located at 912 Springdale Drive in the Whiteland Business Park.

Come learn about the paralegal profession and the college’s Paralegal Studies certificate and associate degree programs. Both programs are approved by the American Bar Association and include a combination of academic courses, internship opportunities, and workshops tailored toward assisting students in finding permanent employment.

The paralegal profession offers an exciting and challenging career with a median annual salary of $57,100 in the Philadelphia area. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, paralegal and legal assistant job opportunities are projected to grow by eight percent through 2024.

At Paralegal Career Night, attendees will:

• learn what it takes to have a paralegal career
• gain insight about the college’s Paralegal Studies programs
• meet members of the college’s expert Paralegal Studies faculty
• hear from current students and alumni about their experience in the program
• have questions answered about financial aid and the application process from an admissions representative
