Chester County Commissioners Michelle Kichline and Terence Farrell opened their re-election campaign last week with a re ception at the Miss Oxford Diner.

Kichline and Farrell, who as County Commissioners have invested millions of dollars in the revitalizations of Chester County’s 15 boroughs and the City of Coatesville, emphasized their work to preserve farmland and open space.

“Chester County’s No. 1 industry is agriculture,” said Farrell. “Our local farms are key to our county’s economy.

“As your commissioners, we have continued to protect open space, including the preservation of our 500th farm. Today, more than 25 percent of the land mass of Chester County is protected.”

Kichline said that she’s “excited for our team to keep Chester County as the best place in America to live, work, and raise a family.”
