Internal Audit Manager

This position conducts and/or assists with required audits of all district courts, row offices, and other county government entities; reviews and approves all completed work papers and draft audit reports; and prepares and updates existing audit programs as necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting; a minimum of seven years of internal audit experience and a minimum of three years of management experience; CFE certification and/or an MBA; and strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Chief Deputy Coroner

This position oversees the administration and management of the county coroner’s office, including personnel and fiscal management; manages field operations, training, and autopsy oversight; and oversees both the initial accreditation process and the maintenance of accreditation.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s degree in a relevant discipline or an advanced medical degree; knowledge of forensic techniques; and five years of experience in medicolegal death investigations in a coroner or medical examiner office, or five years of law enforcement investigations experience.

Systems Analyst Lead

This position analyzes and develops requirements for new functionality following Lifecycle Methodology; leads programmers and other staff in implementing enhancements and projects; and makes system improvements based on documented justification and feasibility.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline; a minimum of six years of development experience with PeopleSoft and supporting administrative and financial systems; and functional Zero-Based Budget application and development experience.
