WCU Live! to Host Internationally Acclaimed Cashore Marionettes on Dec. 15

WCU Live! will present the internationally acclaimed Cashore Marionettes on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 2 PM in the Madeleine Wing Adler Theatre at the Swope Music Building and Performing Arts Center.

Joseph Cashore and his marionettes have traveled the world for more than 20 years. His marionettes have been called “engineering marvels that redefine the art of puppetry,” and his artistry described as “a man who works miracles with only the slightest pluck and pull on the strings.”

In Simple Gifts, a series of portrayals and poignant scenes set to melodic and classical music explores the richness of everyday life. Exploring the universal themes of love, joy, sadness, and humor, Simple Gifts is as awe-inspiring as it is funny and touching.
