Uwchlan-based J.W. Pepper & Sons, one of the world’s leading retailers of sheet music, is getting another boost in recognition thanks to being featured on Fox Business Network’s “Manufacturing Marvels” segment, writes Donna Rovins for the Daily Local News.

The 142-year-old company first appeared on air yesterday and will be featured again tonight between 9:30 and 9:44 PM.

In addition to its headquarters in Chester County, the company operates 12 stores across the country with distribution centers in Georgia and Utah. It employs 250 people, with 135 working in Uwchlan.

The company keeps more than 125,000 products on the shelves, in addition to the more than 50,000 products that are ready to ship to customers from its warehouses.

Kathy Fernandes, chief marketing officer at J.W. Pepper & Sons, said that the taping took place at the Georgia location and was done in one day. The footage includes shots of the inside and outside of the facility, as well as employees at work.

“I’m hoping this piece gives insight into how much we care about serving our customers.” said J.W. Pepper & Sons president Glenn Burtch.
