Bridge Street in Phoenixville has a new place to hang out – the Analog Bar Room at Bistro on Bridge, writes Ed Williams in Main Line Today.

Zack and Seth Hoffman, brothers and co-owners of Bistro on Bridge since 2009, decided in January to remodel their first-floor bistro and to gut the former Club 212 on the second floor. They wanted to replace Club 212 with “a place where families could enjoy a throwback-vibe rooftop beer garden all year long,” said Zack Hoffman.

What they created on the second floor was the retro Analog Bar Room, which features an open floor plan and larger-than-life wall murals. The space also features sofas, a fireplace, blonde wooden tables, a shuffleboard table, and a revolving selection of classic arcade games, including Pac Man, Area 51, and Frogger.

It also has two 16-foot garage doors that open onto an outdoor beer garden with picnic table seating and a 1973 Volkswagon “beer bus” that serves as a summer bar. A section of the ceiling has been removed to provide sky views and the surrounding windows allow for a bird’s-eye view of Bridge Street.

The bar will feature a long list of canned beers, 1970s-themed cocktails, and frozen drinks.
