After spending much of his acting career in New York City and Los Angeles, Berwyn native Bryan Fox returned home five years ago to open Actors Lab Philly, a studio in Wayne, writes Lisa Dukart for Main Line Today.

Fox, who has acted on shows like Bones and JAG, provides young people with something he missed out on.

“When I moved here, I dreamed of offering what was never offered to me when I was younger,” he said.

The studio recently moved to a larger studio that can comfortably fit 14-16 students. But this is where Fox plans to cap it.

“We’ll be able to do a couple things at once now,” said Fox, a graduate of Conestoga High School. “Self-taping has become very popular. You get an audition for a show in Atlanta, New York, or Pittsburgh. We film, upload, and send it to casting.”
