Broomall native Damon Feldman, a Marple Newtown High School graduate, helps celebrities recapture the spotlight through boxing, writes Susan Rosenbluth for the Jewish Link of New Jersey.

Feldman is the founder and promoter of Celebrity Boxing, which puts celebrities in the ring where they fight each other for charity.

“Most of the people I’ve promoted on Celebrity Boxing have more than used up their 15 minutes of fame in the eyes of the public,” he said. “I put them in the ring to give them that one extra minute to shine.”

Some of the participants have included former Major League Baseball player José Canseco and former child actor Danny Bonaduce.

Feldman also recently published a book – entitled The 16-Minute Man – and is planning a new series of competitions pitting hair and makeup artists against each other in salons across the country.
