Whole Foods in Exton Adds Charging Stations for Electric Vehicles

By

The new Whole Foods Market in Exton has added Blink charging stations for electric vehicles as part of its continued commitment to sustainability and customer service, writes Eric Williams for Chasing Markets.

The new charging units will connect to Blink Network, a cloud-based system that operates and manages Blink’s EV charging stations. Any Whole Foods shopper with an electric vehicle can find a charging station through Blink’s free app to recharge their EV.

In addition to the Whole Foods in Exton, charging stations have also been added to the stores in Lancaster and Spring House.

“Whole Foods Market has always been on the frontlines of innovation in sustainability, and so we are eager to be working with them on their new locations,” said Blink CEO Mike Calise.

He said Whole Foods knows that providing Blink charging stations at their stores will provide an amenity for customers and add infrastructure for the future of transportation.

“Providing Blink charging services to Whole Foods shoppers is an exciting endeavor because it supports our commitment to making EV charging more accessible,” Calise said.
