Malvern Bank, National Association Honors Narberth Ambulance in Celebration of EMS Week

By

In celebration of National EMS Week, representatives of Malvern Bank, National Association visited Narberth Ambulance on Monday with boxes of donuts to show appreciation for the myriad services its volunteers provide the community.

Comprised of more than 80 members who volunteer their time, Narberth Ambulance is a nonprofit that provides 24/7 service to more than 150,000 residents and visitors of Lower Merion, Narberth, Conshohocken, and West Conshohocken.

In 1974, President Gerald Ford authorized National EMS Week to celebrate EMS practitioners and the important work they do in our nation’s communities. National EMS Week brings together local communities and medical personnel to honor the dedication of those who provide the day-to-day lifesaving services of medicine’s “front line.”

“EMS professionals protect our communities every day, many times volunteering their time to serving others,” said John M. Lyons, Vice President of Malvern Bank, National Association. “We are so grateful for Narberth Ambulance and the many other local organizations that bring life-saving services on the front line and encourage folks to support these organizations.”

The staff of Malvern Bank, National Association is actively involved in the communities it serves, as the bank believes that giving back is the hallmark of a true community bank. Malvern Bank, National Association is strong enough to offer a wide variety of state-of-the-art products and services, but small enough to become closely involved in the communities it serves.
