The Hankin Group is already contemplating its next project for Eagleview as the construction of its second hotel in the mixed-use community in Exton nears completion, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

“We need to focus more on housing,” said Bob Hankin, CEO of the Hankin Group.

The shift in focus goes hand in hand with the company’s strategy to develop mixed-use communities that have a sense of place.

However, this shift does not mean the company is ignoring its Eagleview Corporate Center, which is developing into a hub for life science and biotech companies.

The Hankin Group currently owns and manages 1.2 million square feet in Eagleview. Out of that, only 48,000 square feet is retail, while 794,530 square feet is leased to biotech and pharmaceutical companies.

Three new life science companies – Essential Medical, Lungpacer Medical, and Immunome – have moved their headquarters into Eagleview in just the last year.

These companies join other life science companies that now either have their headquarters or a major presence in Eagleview.
