Ten Last Minute Easter Basket Stuffers & Necessities

By

Easter’s only a few days away so if you’re like me, you’ve procrastinated to the last minute and still have trinkets and toys you need to purchase for the Easter baskets.

Listed are ten Easter essentials that you can still get in time for the holiday. Peter Cottontail would be proud of you!

10. Galaxy Fluffy Slime, Makone 3pcs Colorful Soft Egg Slime Putty Magic: I used to love getting Silly Putty as a child! This stuff is Silly Putty 2.0 with all it’s magical colors and environmentally friendly makeup.

Suitable for children over 5 years of age. the resin is Borax-free so it’s environmentally friendly and the colors remind one of the night’s sky. It makes a great time for the kids arts & crafts projects and doubles as a squeezable stress reliver for adults! If the sparkles are just all too much for you, you can always stick to the original Play Doh egg or the always fun Silly Putty eggs!

9.Emoji Easter Coloring Book: Kids love the Emojis!

Emojis seem to be everywhere: on my cell phone, action figures and there’s even a movie about them! Well, now there’s an Easter coloring book and it could make a great basket-stuffer!

8. Prextex Easter Eggs Basket: Of course you probably have those Easter egg baskets from last year, but if they’re the bamboo style, you should get rid of them!

Those old bamboo Easter baskets need to go! After sitting in a damp basement for a year the fibers become weak and brittle and can give kids splinters. They easily break and can be a hidden source of mold and germs. Prextex makes their baskets out of plastic and have no sharp edges! Happy Easter Egg hunting!

7. LEGO Holiday Easter Egg Hunt Building Kit: LEGO’s are great! Finding that the Easter bunny brought me some LEGOs would be a wonderful surprise!

Every young boy and many girls love LEGO’s. Their parts are interchangeable so you can have Darth Vader go on an Easter Egg hunt with this fun kit! LEGO’s let your child’s imagination run wild and are a great toy to have fun and learn.

6.  Easter Eggs with Toy Cars Inside: As a kid, I used to find Matchbox cars in some of my Easter eggs – It seems as though Kangaroo has taken the same concept and lowered the price.

My father would also hide eggs with small amounts of change for my siblings and I to hunt down in our yard. He’d always have that very well-hidden one with a $5 bill in it that took us half of the day to find! Ah, nostalgia. Make some memories for your children with these colorful Kangaroo Easter eggs with fancy little cars inside. Hours of fun finding them and hours of fun playing with the toys found therein!

5. Easter Grass Tricolor: I personally like Easter because of all the bright pastel colors and faux Easter grass. Why not get pastel colored faux Easter grass?

A fun Easter basket stuffer because it’s cheap and fills the basket up. It also looks very nice! Easter grass is essential to any Easter morning!

4. Easter Egg Basket – Plush Soft Stuffed Cuddly Cute Bunny Rabbit Candy Storage : There’s always another level of quality to any product if you’re looking to spend a little more money.

Use this adorable little guy for an Easter egg hunt and your child will be the toast of the hunt. You can also use him to hold some communal Easter candies for everyone to enjoy!

3. The Don’t Laugh Challenge – Easter Edition:  Just a good old-fashioned joke book to read with the family and try to make eachother laugh.

The point of these books is to not laugh and you win the “game.” It’s nice to see they made an Easter edition of good old fashioned funny jokes. A good time for the whole family.

2. Godiva Chocolatier Milk Chocolate Solid Bunny: Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a chocolate bunny!

Godiva makes excellent chocolates and Easter seems like the perfect excuse to splurge on some better-than-average chocolates for the family. This guy comes with 5 extra foil-wrapped chocolate eggs too!

1. Easter Marshmallow Peeps Chicks 50 Count WellPackBox Grass Bundle 5 Color Variety Pack: What candy screams “Easter” more than Peeps? I honestly can’t think of one.

Marshmallow Peeps are delicious little sugary, marshmallow-y morsels that make that Easter afternoon sugar rush possible. I know of no other candy that is so ubiquitous with Easter.
