Landhope Farms will present the First Annual Connective Art and Music Festival held in Oxford on Saturday, Aug. 4.
This family-friendly event, hosted in partnership by the Oxford Arts Alliance and Oxford Mainstreet Inc., is aimed at bringing the community together through a fun day of arts and music.
Stages at various locations throughout downtown Oxford will feature music all day.
Oxford Plumbing and Heating will present headliner, Eve 6, on the main stage.
Oxford Feed and Lumber will present a full day of country music, including The Sherwood Brothers, The DuPont Brothers, Blades of Grass, Chris Mongahan, and John King.
Also, the local stage will have Moe Blues and Bethlehem and Sad Patrick.
Lincoln University will present the sights and the sounds of the worlds cultures through the World Music.
Carlson Cultural Trust will sponsor Gallery Row, which will feature more than 20 artisans with sculptures, printmaking, fine arts, pottery, fiber art, jewelry, and more.
“The Connective is an exciting event to get involved in as we look forward to bringing the Landhope Farms brand to the Oxford area very soon,” said Dennis McCartney, Director of Operations at Landhope Farms. “We’re not only excited about the event, but even more excited to be involved right at the beginning for what is sure to become an annual event in Oxford for many years to come.”
