Cookie Dope Lets Your Imagination Run Wild at New Store in West Chester
Cookie Dope, the new cookie dough shop in downtown West Chester, has been enjoying great success since it opened just over a month ago, writes Olivia Bortner for The Quad.
The shop is owned by Preston Neidermyer, who drew from his previous experience working with frozen yogurt to create his own cookie dough recipes. Inside the store, customers are greeted with a stunning display of cookie dough, ice cream, and toppings.
Cookie Dope currently offers eight flavors of house-made cookie dough, including chocolate chip and brownie. There are also gluten-friendly options along with carnival-style foods such as soft pretzels and cinnamon buns.

Neidermyer encourages customers to experiment with their choices, no matter how strange the combination may sound.
“I just wanted to create a place that had no creativity limits,” he said.
There’s also a backroom seating area for groups of people to relax and enjoy their creations, along with a backyard that Neidermyer intends to use for parties and community gatherings.
