Chester County Accounts for 10 Percent of Pennsylvania’s Top 50 Private High Schools

Five Chester County schools rank among the Top 50 on Niche.com’s list of the 2018 Best Private High Schools in Pennsylvania.

The ranking is based on an analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews by students and parents. The data was sourced directly from the U.S. Department of Education, Niche.com users, and the schools.

Among the ranking factors are composite SAT/ACT scores, student-teacher ratio, culture and diversity, parent/student surveys, college enrollment, and more.

The highest-ranked school in Chester County is the Westtown School at No. 12. It received an overall score of A+ and received the same grade in four of the six categories.

Next on the list is Church Farm School at No. 21 and Devon Prep at No. 25. Both schools received an A+ overall.

Also among the Top 50 are Malvern Prep at No. 27 and Villa Maria Academy at No. 48.
