Chester County Democratic Committee Chair Brian J. McGinnis has decided it’s time for him to leave on a high note following the party’s historic victories in local elections, writes Lucas Rodgers for the Daily Local News.
McGinnis announced last week that he would not be seeking a second term. He said he now plans to focus on his professional career.
Supported by many new donors and increased activism, McGinnis believes there are great candidates for the state House who will break more barriers in Chester County.
McGinnis has been working for Vanguard for 11 years, currently working as a relationship consultant. He emphasized that he will continue to be an active supporter of local Democrats.
“I’m leaving the party in great shape financially and with a lot of momentum towards the 2018 elections,” McGinnis said.
