Doughnut lovers are about to get a special treat as Fractured Prune Doughnuts will soon be opening its doors at the Bradford Plaza Shopping Center in West Chester, writes Donna Rovins for the Daily Local News.

Fractured Prune Doughnuts is known for its hot, made-to-order, hand-dipped doughnuts.

Owners Brandy Bell-Truskey and her husband Tom Truskey signed a lease for the 1,300-square-foot space last month. They are hoping to be ready for a May opening.

The couple considered several locations before deciding the best choice was Bradford Plaza.

“This is our community,” said Brandy. “We live here, and that’s our shopping center. The fact that we ended up there is fantastic. It’s a perfect location.”

Customers will be able to customize their doughnuts with a number of glazes and toppings. These will include key lime, mocha, and blackberry glazes, and toppings like cookie crumb, mini-chocolate chips, and sea salt.

“What people are going to love about these doughnuts is that they are hot, fresh, and made to order,” said Brandy. “The inside is moist and fluffy and then you get to choose your own glaze and topping.”
