Skilled Nursing Positions

Barclay Friends has 10 openings for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) who provide residents with physical, psychosocial, and social support; seven openings for Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) who provide quality nursing care to meet the needs of residents; and one opening for an RN Supervisor who oversees the nursing staff of the rehab unit.

Ideal CNA candidates will have completed an approved nursing assistant program and certification exam; the ideal RN and LPN candidates will be currently licensed; and the ideal RN Supervisor will possess current licensure, one to three years of clinical nursing experience, and previous experience working in a rehab unit.

Certified Dietary Manager

This position oversees all aspects of healthcare operations; enhances resident and guest meal service, including catering and specials; and supervises resident therapeutic diets and the overall nutritional care of the residents in the healthcare areas.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree; Certified Dietary Manager certification; and excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.

Recreation & Arts Assistant

This position assists in the implementation of full recreational activity and program planning for all residents, including art or music programs for residents with varying cognitive impairments and physical disabilities.

The ideal candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree; successful experience in facilitating art and/or music programs in group and one-on-one settings; and current CPR and First Aid Certification.

Floor Care Technician

This position ensures that residents’ rooms, common areas, and offices are kept neat, clean, and sanitary, and performs other housekeeping duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will possess adequate reading and writing skills, will be able to follow oral and written instructions, and be able to pay close attention to detail and work independently.
